<p>I believe there&#8217;s connection between engagement, imagination and inspiration…in the mind of the employee.</p>
<p>And I believe it&#8217;s not necessary to argue what&#8217;s cause and what&#8217;s effect. All that really matters is that each one stimulates the others, and that stimulation is circular.</p>

<p>I maintained then that employee engagement is</p>

Investment of one’s body, mind, and spirit in one’s work.

Exceptional degree of emotional commitment that fuels the doing, thinking, and believing in one’s work.
