<p>Job confidence and employee engagement enjoy mutual reinforcement.</p>
<p>As one engages in her work, her confidence increases; as confidence grows, her incentive to engage expands. Providing opportunities and resources to boost either, will boost both. Communicating attention to both likely gives an exponential surge.</p>
