The above sequence pretty much says it all. And more often than not business owners look at that sequence on the back of my business card and nod their heads. Sometimes they even say, “That’s what every business needs to remember.”

Then they focus on what they hope will contribute to success but which too often has nothing to do with managers, their style, or employee engagement.

Where employee engagement is not taken weakly…

Talking to someone (as I always am) at church a few weeks ago, I got around to asking what turned him on about the company he works for. He didn't use the words, but his answer translated as "Engagement. Everyone's engaged in what we do."
